Yahya Pandor and his brother Isa are using TikTok to educate people about living with blindness. The 27-year-old from Gloucester lost his sight to macular degeneration two years ago, but he's determined to stay positive and laughter is "the best medicine" according to him. In their videos, the brothers discuss themes such as the most common questions blind people are asked and coping with day-to-day challenges. There's an emphasis on education and humor in their videos, which has helped them gain over ten thousand followers on TikTok.

Yahya wants to show people that a blindness doesn't have to be a negative thing. When asked why he started his TikTok, Yahya said:

"It was during the first lockdown that I learnt I was losing my sight. My brother and I were both TikTok users, and we decided to make some funny videos. Isa is tech-savvy and knows how to film and edit, and with me not being able to see that part would be difficult to do."

"There is a perception that blind people are limited or held back in some way but I don't think that is the case as blind people have jobs and can use mobile phones. We have also done the videos as people are curious as to how I undertake everyday tasks."
